East End Radicals!

Music is something ive wanted to do since i was 10. As far as i can remember that was my only goal in life. Im one step closer now with my band the East End Radicals. We play shows 2 times a month and practice 3 times a week. We have been meeting mand impressing the right people; for example promoters for bigger venues, record labels (Stomp Records!!!) etc. We have already played with bigger band likes The Real McKenzies, The Mahones, Koffin Kats and ,many more. We have already had a couple of interviews by various sites around Montreal and my singer was interviewed on CBC radio! I have a really good feeling about this band and i couldn't be more excited!!

End of Semester!

Finally it's the end of the semester; i have so much work i don't even know where to begin! i really wish teachers would not give all their assignments at once; i just don't understand why they must do that it puts to much pressure on us students! but it's ok it will all be over in a couple of days thank god! summer will be here and i will have nothing to worry about except music, skateboarding and work. Now that's what life is all about.

Summer Plans

I hope to accomplish many things this summer, here are a few of the things that i would have liked to do:

I had wanted to take a trip to Australia to visit my friends i had met in Munich a few summers ago. My friends and I had shared a hostel with them on the last stretch of our 3 week backpacking trip across Europe. They recently came to North America to visit various cities in the United States and decided to pay us a visit. We had discussed with them the possibility of a trip down under but nothing was set in stone. My friends and I unfortunately do not have the necessary financial support to get us across the world and therefore we will not be visiting them this summer.

Another thing that i would love to do this summer that is more likely to happen is for my band to go on a Quebec/Ontario tour for say a week or so. We have been trying to plan it for a few months now and hopefully all our work would have paid off. It's something i've always wanted to do since i started playing music; of course for any musician, playing shows in other cities and traveling would be a dream come true.
